Architecture Rustic reborn
Built in the early 2000s, this rustic lodge was home to tractors and hay until its renovation in 2017, when Design Hotels Original Prisca Llagostera personally chalked out divisions on the floor for the interior walls that were added. Dark wooden shutters and doors, stone walls, and the occasional concrete floor characterize the property, creating an aesthetic of pared-back mountain living.

Wood abounds inside—old floors, walls, and chairs—creating a natural-hued canvas for a curation of design pieces, from brass candlesticks to velvet sofas. A hanging chimney epitomizes the property’s aesthetic—bucolic and sleek—while iron and concrete pillars add texture. Leather chairs are found in communal areas, and a central fireplace acts as the property’s warm heart.

Food & Drink Inside and out
Situated around a fireplace in the main building, the Lodge Canteen is a lovely, tranquil restaurant serving delicious mountain cuisine. The Summer Pop-Up and the Winter Shack are housed in the same wooden hut, which features its own fireplace and two large tables for collective meals. In summer, live music is presented on Thursday nights, while the idea in winter is to show up after snowshoeing, skiing, or a walk for a hearty, well-deserved meal.
