On Mallorca’s glorious northwest shore, Port de Sóller charms with architecture that has French and even Puerto Rican influences, as well as quaint narrow streets overlooked by craggy mountains. Sóller is also a great base for walking in the Serra de Tramuntana, which is on UNESCO’s list of cultural landscapes—one such walk is down the Torrent de Pareis, Mallorca's “Grand Canyon”.
